You started this because something inspired you.

We’re here to make sure the chaos doesn’t bury it.

We help values-driven business owners, who are holding everything together with too many hats and not enough hours, reclaim their purpose.

We build the foundation your mission stands on.

Let’s talk

When there are no systems, you are the system.

Everything lives in your head, nothing runs without you, and the work you actually love keeps getting pushed to later. You’re not doing anything wrong, you’re just carrying too much, and you’ve been doing it alone for too long.

At Summit & Stone Co., we love the behind-the-scenes work that most people avoid. We come in, learn how your business actually runs, and build the solid ground beneath it that lets you lead the way you always intended to.

As one of our clients put it — we bring a rare balance of organization, compassion, and follow-through that truly makes a difference.

How it works

  1. 01

    A real conversation

Free, 30 minutes. We get to know each other and figure out if we’re the right fit.

  2. 02

    We get to work

Every engagement starts with a three-month commitment. From day one, we’re working on your highest priority — and running a full audit alongside that work. We want to understand what’s urgent, but also what’s underlying it.

  3. 03

    A plan that’s actually yours

At the end of month two, you receive a written findings report, and a work plan built around what your business actually needs — no cookie-cutter packages. From there, we have the opportunity to build a continued partnership and work through your needs in the order that’s best for you.

What we work on

  • You’re the only one who knows how anything works — and it’s exhausting.
  • Bringing on a new team member feels like starting from scratch every time.
  • Your client experience is inconsistent because there’s no real process behind it.

If any of that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

We are your operations partner — building systems, processes, and documentation that get everything out of your head and into something your whole team can use. Every solution is built around you, your preferences, your team’s skill set, and the tools you’ll actually use.

Here’s what that might look like for you:

File Management & Organization

Clear, logical filing so the right information is always findable.

Internal Process Documentation

SOPs and operational procedures that capture how your business runs and make that knowledge accessible to everyone on your team.

Client Experience & CRM Setup

An organized pipeline and client onboarding workflow that delivers a consistent, professional experience from the very first touchpoint.

Bookkeeping Support

Whether you need your books set up from scratch, an existing system revamped, or light ongoing support, we have you covered.

HR Policies & Procedures

Documented expectations for your team and a solid framework that gives your business room to grow.

Hiring & Onboarding Systems

Repeatable processes that mean every new team member hits the ground running, no reinventing the wheel each time.

Performance Management

Structured review processes that make performance conversations consistent, meaningful, and something your team actually looks forward to.

Offboarding Procedures

Thoughtful processes that tie up loose ends and keep things moving smoothly whenever a team member transitions out.

Who we are

Summit & Stone Co. is a fractional partner for values-driven small businesses and nonprofits — the people building something that gives back more than it takes. We are based in the Kootenays, British Columbia, and work remotely with businesses across Canada and beyond.

We believe the people doing the most heart-centred work shouldn’t have to hold it all together alone.

What they say

Running a growing boutique consulting agency meant I was getting busier and busier. But every time I considered hiring admin or operations support, I always feared: would this person become another person I had to manage, adding to my workload instead of alleviating my capacity?

Until I met Alexandra.

Her attention to detail, her ability to see problems three steps ahead, and her skill in managing operations with compassionate communication and practical solutions have really been a game changer for me and my team.

Not only did she support our team, but she also played a critical role in several key projects, assisting with system transformation, fundraising administration, and volunteer committee management.

What I really appreciate about working with Alexandra is her system-oriented mindset, combined with her ability to remain level-headed and strategic, even when dealing with complex and evolving problems. I highly recommend any organization or company work with Alexandra.

— Betty Xie, Principal, Forward Avenue
Your skill at managing people, space and time is outstanding. When we made changes, you simply made it happen — no fuss, no complaining, not a hint that we were an inconvenience.
— Rick MacLennan, President, MacInk Consulting & Coaching

Working with Alexandra has been such a positive, grounding experience. She brings a rare balance of organization, compassion, and follow-through that truly makes a difference. She has a natural way of making people feel heard; no idea is ever too small, and she creates space for thoughtful, collaborative conversations that keep things moving forward.

Alexandra is incredibly detail-oriented and often seems one step ahead, always looking for ways to improve and better support the people around her. Even when things get challenging, she shows up with resilience and a calm, solutions-focused mindset. She’s someone you can rely on to follow through and deliver, every time.

What stands out most is how deeply people-centred she is in everything she does. Her passion is evident in how she builds relationships, supports others, and strengthens our network as a whole. It’s truly a pleasure to work alongside her.

— Julie Rose, Executive Director, Cranbrook Food Bank
Meticulously detailed and able to juggle multiple tasks and keep a very complicated schedule on track. Not only that, she is fun to work with.
